This book, and this image above in particular, really blew my mind away when I first saw it in my school library.
It was so good that I contemplated stealing it.
The cover picture appears as if Peress had pieced four different images into one.
But it really is just one picture.
This is his genius at work. Many after him have tried the same approach and failed.
I like to call this a photograph of confusions.
